Applications：O-Phenylphenol is non-toxic matter, it has broad applications:It can be used as preservation and antistaling agent, which is approved by EU, UEA and Japan. It can be used in orange, vegetable, apple, pear, pineapple, peach and strawberry. Moreover, it is a good bactericide, disinfectant, preservation and antistaling agent,microorganism inhibitor and mildew inhibitor. Approved by EPA, O-Phenylphenol and its sodium salt are widely used in over 200 kinds of soap, detergent and preservation and antistaling agent. It also can be used in cellulose, protein material, including wood, leather, antiseptic of paper, plasticizer and fire retardant, etc.
